Pharmacy technician EFZ
Job description
Your responsibilities
- Advising at the counter, from a cold to long-term medication
- Handling prescriptions and checking them for interactions
- Preparing weekly blisters for our customers
- Helping with vaccinations, health checks and wound care
What you bring
A completed apprenticeship as a pharmacy technician (Fachfrau/Fachmann Apotheke EFZ), enjoyment of direct contact with people and a willingness to explain something that elsewhere there is no time for.
What we offer
A small team at one location, regular working hours without night duty, and a pharmacy where you are actually allowed to take the time to advise.
Applying
Short and informal to info@anklinapotheke.ch. Questions beforehand are welcome by phone on 041 780 39 19.
No chain of branches, no staying anonymous.
In a large chain you are responsible for one step in a process. Here you do the advice at the counter and the blister packing for the care homes, you are there for health checks and vaccination drives, and you see the same people again over the years. That is more demanding and a good deal more satisfying.
Twelve people at one location: after two weeks you know everyone's name, and everyone knows yours. A family business since 1919, flat hierarchy, decisions made in the house. People who start here usually stay longer than planned: Christine Moser has been with us for over thirteen years.
Tamara Ringger is a training supervisor and examination expert. Training does not run on the side here.
Approved and certified as a training business by the vocational training office of the canton of Zug. We have been training here for generations.
An apprenticeship in the pharmacy: three years, out front from the first month.
We train for the apprenticeship as a pharmacy technician with a federal certificate of proficiency (Fachfrau/Fachmann Apotheke EFZ). It is the profession that used to be called pharmacy assistant. You are out front from the first month rather than in the back room.
What you should bring: an interest in health, enjoyment of dealing with people, and the willingness to keep asking until you have understood it.
You will hear from us in any case.
No epic covering letter needed. We want to know who you are and why a pharmacy of all things. We will sort out the rest in conversation.
CV, references, a short letter of motivation. By email is enough.
Within two weeks, in any case. Even if it does not fit right now.
A conversation in the pharmacy, with a tour. You will see the storage robot, the blister packing and the consultation room.
Half a day in the business, so that you know what you are letting yourself in for. After that both sides decide.
Write to us, even without an advertised position.
We will get back to you within two weeks, in any case. And if it does not fit right now, we will tell you that too.
