Natural remedies and micronutrients in Cham

Who advises

Two qualifications behind the advice

Bach flowers and Schuessler salts are among the most bought complementary remedies in Switzerland. The advice given about them varies a great deal in quality.

Bach flowersTamara Ringger has completed the Bach flower training as a Bach Foundation Registered Practitioner (BFRP), the recognised training of the Bach Centre. In conversation we put together a mixture that fits your situation, rather than selling one off the peg.

Schuessler saltsOn top of that, further training in the use of Schuessler salts. For a detailed consultation it is best to reserve an appointment in the pharmacist consultation.

Where the line runs

Complementary remedies accompany treatment, they do not replace necessary medical care. That is not a formula for the package insert but the condition under which advice is worth anything at all.

Concretely that means: if we are convinced you need something else, we tell you – even if you come in with a clear idea. And if a preparation does nothing in your situation, we say that too rather than selling it.

Natural remedies with standards

Herbal remedies and micronutrients can be a sensible addition. Sometimes they are exactly the right thing, sometimes something else is better. Knowing the difference is what we are here for. Alongside Bach flowers, Schuessler salts and micronutrients we keep homeopathy in stock and carry spagyric remedies on a small scale, to order at any time.

Our advice goes beyond “what helps against what”. We look at your medication as a whole, at possible interactions and at what actually makes sense in your situation. Most often it is about four questions: what strengthens the immune system? What helps with falling asleep? What can be done about stress and exhaustion? And does a vitamin or mineral preparation do anything at all in your situation? We tell you what is documented and what is not.

Natural does not automatically mean well tolerated

Herbal remedies are active substances, and active substances can get in each other’s way. The best-known example is St John’s wort: it considerably reduces the effect of several prescription medicines, including blood thinners and hormonal contraceptives. Anyone taking both without knowing believes they are protected and is not.

Worth knowing

Bring your medication plan along, even if you are “only” looking for something herbal. That is exactly where the interactions arise that nobody thinks of, because the remedy is available over the counter after all. The same applies to the food supplements under our own name.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions about natural remedies

What is the difference to buying at a drugstore?

The products can be similar, the advice is not. We know your medication, take your situation into account and recommend nothing without knowing the whole picture.

Do food supplements really help?

It depends. Some are well documented, others hardly at all. We recommend what makes sense, and we tell you when in our view a preparation adds nothing.

What are Schuessler salts?

Mineral salts in a homeopathic preparation according to Dr Wilhelm Heinrich Schuessler. Which number suits your question is something we settle in conversation.

How does a Bach flower consultation work?

We discuss your situation in peace and put together your personal mixture from it. By fixed appointment if you wish, discreetly and without time pressure.

What does the detailed consultation cost?

A Bach flower and a Schuessler salt consultation cost CHF 30 each. A short question at the counter remains free of charge.

Do you also carry spagyric remedies and homeopathy?

We keep homeopathic remedies in stock. We carry spagyric remedies on a small scale and can order anything missing for you at any time.

Can I combine herbal remedies with my medication?

Not always, and not without checking. Bring your medication plan along and we can assess it.
